Explore the mystery and magic of gardening with an artsy twist during this Artfields Jr. Art Explorers program at Moore Farms Botanical Garden. Kids will learn about the art of mosaics and create their own mosaic flower pots to take home.

ArtFields: Plein Air Day

With 50-acres of picturesque views, exquisite water features and whimsical southern charm, Moore Farms Botanical Garden makes the perfect canvas. Come visit the garden for this unique opportunity to let your artistic side flow. With a special admission fee of only $10, you are able to paint, draw, photograph, or sketch in the garden anytime between 7:30 AM and NOON. You may come and go as you please during this time so you may also attend other ArtFields events. No food, materials or merchandise will be available for purchase. The Dandelion Gala

The Dandelion Gala has been designed to provide a culinary and musical experience like no other. Chef LaTasha Mac, Season 13 winner of Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen will provide a variety of hand-crafted Heavy Hors d’Oeuvres. Louis Latour, founded in 1797, will provide a variety French wines paired to enhance the flavors of the evening accompanied by a full bar. Guests are encouraged to dress in all white to transform the room into a field of flowing dandelion buds while listening to the sounds of gospel, soul, and R & B-infused artist Liz Vice from Portland, Oregon. Natural Indigo Dying: Shibori

Join us for a unique and artistic hands-on experience. During this 4-hour workshop, Carolina Harper will teach you how to make and maintain a non-fermented indigo vat and dye cotton hands-on with natural indigo. Three shibori techniques, a Japanese ancient practice, will be taught with each attendee dying four cotton pieces of their own to take home!
