Sewing For Kids Summer Camp for Ages 6-12

This class will teach about the basic foundations of using a sewing machine as well as incorporating some hand stitching and other sewing skills. We will talk about creating ideas and patterns and use our new knowledge to craft and create fun projects to bring home. BYOMachine

Interactive Writing Summer Camp for 3rd-5th Graders

 Grades 3rd – 5th                                   Cost $50 
In an interactive writing camp, 3rd-5th graders will have fun learning how to use their powers of observation to write investigative stories, make journals and use drawings and writing entries they will want as lasting keepsakes, develop characters to use in imaginative stories, and make an illustrated accordion book about a tall tale. Through scavenger hunts, drama, charades, mad libs, and other fun exercises, children will learn to love expressing themselves through the art of creative writing.

Create, Play and Perform Summer Camp for Ages 6-12

Ages 6-12                                            Cost $75
Explore the beloved characters of P.D. Eastman’s “Are You My Mother?” on this theatrical journey. Aspiring actors will learn the basics of storytelling, character development and ensemble work. Each session will provide a series of theatre games and acting exercises used to spark their imaginations. Eastman’s words will serve as a foundation for their creation. Friends and family are invited for a sharing on the final day of class.

Figure Drawing

Ages 18+ are invited to attend. Cost: $10

Bring your own drawing or painting materials.
We do have some standing and table top easels available for use.
*Each session will have it’s own guide artist and nude to partially nude model

Line Dancing

Teresa “Terri” Mack is a council member for the city of Hartsville #3 and serves on many other local boards as well. She volunteers on multiple levels to help provide a better quality of life for everyone. Teaching line dancing to the public is one of her many acts of service for the surrounding community. Come join her class for a step by step line dance lesson where you will receive a great cardio workout. You can dance away stress and replace it with laughter and fun as you learn!

$10 per class. 16 years+

Pottery Class

Our instructor, Aubree, is offering this opportunity for those interested in gaining experience in wheel thrown pottery with out having to commit to one of our full length studio classes.
Aubree teaches the techniques used in creating a coffee mug from start to finish. You will be a part of designing finishes and glazes for the final firing that will take place after your piece has completely dried. You will be notified when your mug is ready for pick-up and it’s inaugural brew.
