Learn to Knit at the Clay Pot

Join Kathryn Cain, of Nellie Anne Yarns to learn the fun art of knitting on Saturdays. On Feb. 20, class members will learn how to knit a hat in the Knitting 103 class. Kathryn uses a collection of patterns to give you all the skills you need in a logical sequence. New skills taught in this class will include knitting in the round using DPN’s increasing, decreasing and gauge. Kathryn uses hand-outs, videos, and personal instruction to maximize your enjoyment and learning. The sequence of courses and patterns builds on previous skills to teach you how to read patterns, gauge as well as the stitches.

Classes are held on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Clay Pot. Fiber Artists (knit, crochet, spinners, etc.) are invited to knit at the Clay Pot on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Class members are invited to stay and knit until 2:00 p.m. with other fiber artists as you perfect your skills.

Class size is limited, and classes are $25 per session which includes a cup of the house blend coffee, instruction, pattern and hand-outs. You must pre-register by emailing: Kat@NellieAnne.com.

Kathryn uses a collection of patterns to give you all the skills you need in a logical sequence. New skills taught in this class will include cast on, knit purl and bind off. Kathryn uses hand-outs, videos, and personal instruction to maximize your enjoyment and learning. The sequence of courses and patterns builds on previous skills to teach you how to read patterns, gauge as well as the stitches.
