What if you could leave a lasting mark for all to see, while benefiting the lives of many individuals with special needs?
On Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22, the Florence County Disabilities Foundations invites you to “Brick●ABILITIES, where every brick tells a story…paint yours and become a part of the journey!”
The Florence County Disabilities Foundation, along with Farmers Telephone Co-operative, will be hosting this special event to support the individuals served by the Florence County Disabilities and Special Needs Board.
Come join the FCDF at the Pole Barn on Irvin St., next to The Bean Market in Lake City from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday and 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday.
Another opportunity will be available on Friday, April 27 at the Pee Dee Thrift shop parking lot located at 219 N. Church St., from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
Purchase your brick the day of the events or pre-purchase at Pee Dee Thrift, 219 N. Church St., Lake City or go to FCDFoundation.org to purchase online. Bricks are $10 each.
Need more than one brick for your creative genius? Purchase as many bricks as you would like for your masterpiece artwork! Not sure what you want to paint, think of your favorite sport, people, cities, pets, teachers, year of graduation, wedding date, prom…the ideas are endless!
Proceeds from the sale of bricks will be used to provide wheelchairs, dental and vision care, and many other resources for over 1,400 individuals with lifelong disabilities throughout Florence County.
This project is made possible through funding from the Florence Regional Arts Alliance’s Quarterly Grants Program, which is funded in part by a generous award from the South Carolina Arts Commission and the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation of SC and due to the local support of Honda of South Carolina.
