Moore Farms Botanical Garden – Yoga in the Garden

 

Come enjoy some tasty stretches, upper body and core strengtheners, plus a tranquil relaxation session to finish.

These classes will take place all throughout the serene landscapes of Moore Farms Botanical Garden and are taught by TD Rykard. Designed for all levels – from beginners to very experienced – this class focuses on the “yin” aspect of yoga to target connective tissues in addition to simply stretching muscles.

The cost is $10 per person and the class runs from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Basic Yoga at Black Creek Arts Council

A slower paced, alignment based class geared towards the beginner.
When: Mondays
Time: 7:00pm
Cost: $60 a month, $8 walk-ins

Yoga at Black Creek Arts Center

Yoga sessions take place in our beautiful Jean & James Fort Gallery at the Black Creek Arts Center.
*These sessions are open to all levels, no experience, balance, or flexibility required
This class will help you gain core strength, flexibility, focus, and balance, as you learn in a casual and inspiring environment.

There will always be time to look around the gallery at the current exhibition before and after class.

You will need:
yoga mat
hand towel
comfortable stretchy clothing bottle of water

*yoga blocks and straps – optional

Jessie has been practicing yoga for 13 years and also leads classes at the YMCA and personal training sessions at The Haven Day Spa.
