The Florence Regional Arts Alliance (FRAA) is a 501(c)(3) community-based arts agency that serves the citizens of the Greater Florence County community.  FRAA is committed to advocating, preserving, supporting, and promoting a vibrant arts community for Florence County and surrounding counties.

Our Mission

The mission of FRAA is to promote the arts as a catalyst for community cohesiveness, educational advancement and economic growth.

Our Commitment

FRAA is committed to achieving its mission by:

• providing grants to artists, organizations, teachers, and schools;

• recognizing students, individuals, and businesses through awards and scholarships;

• offering community programming that showcases the performing, visual, and literary art forms, and

• serving as an advocate for the arts.

All initiatives of FRAA are based on organizational core values that recognize the arts as fundamental to quality of life, education, and economic development in a knowledge-based economy.

FRAA is committed to nurturing a diverse arts community through inclusive programming, events and projects for all audiences.

This organization is partially funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, in addition to grants and corporate/individual donations.
